Made it to another weekend

Ah, it's the weekend and a 3 day weekend at that! Avery already understands what Friday's mean- no school for 2 days! But he did tell Wade the other day he is ready for kindergarten and wants to go to a big school. That will happen soon enough. To Avery's disappointment soccer was cancelled AGAIN today bc of rain. It's the season that never ends! He was ready to play after his last game, where he scored his 1st, 2nd and 3rd goals of the season! It was such a turning point for him and we were so proud. The coachs caught on and started calling him "The Hulk" and that is all it took. We were ready to see him in action again as well, to see if it was a fluke thing or if he is finally getting it! Ella is discovering more each day. We have found the kitty box and hope that the interest fades sooner than later. She is working hard at standing up and even take a few steps when you hold her hands. Hard to believe she will have her 1st birthday in 2 months. Here's a few pictures from this week. Ella decided to sleep in her bouncer after story time with daddy and Avery took a little too long. And she loves her kitty, Rajah, even if the feeling isn't mutual. Overall he is very accepting of her and gives her space but we still have to keep an eye on him.
