Avery received 2 awards on Friday - one for perfect attendance for the 1st 9 weeks of school and the 2nd, called the "Champion award" for doing all the right things. It's a great feeling to know that even though he says he doesn't like school, he's giving it his best and he's being recognized for it. And it was fun to be able to be there to see him get up on stage and shake hands with the administrators - He's growing into this confident young man and makes me so proud everyday. Yay, Avery!
