Avery's 1st pitch t-ball game was this morning at 10am. It was a wonderful day for baseball, overcast and breezy, but most of all it was Avery's excitement to get out and play! He tipped the 1st ball and got a hit on the 2nd one. Everyone got a run and there's no outs in t-ball. What an esteem booster for all the kiddos. And of course, Wade couldn't be happier that his son's 1st team is the Cubs! It was meant to be don't ya think? The highlight was the catcher's gear so when they were looking for a volunteer to play catcher, Avery was all over it! It was a dream fulfilled for him. For as long as I can remember, Avery has had a fascination with the catchers. Maybe all those games we took Avery to when Wade was coaching in Vegas and Texas will pay off some day! Definitely happy parents today!
