Daddy needed some extra rest today and mom had lots of errands to run, so we loaded up and hit the stores in the mall while mom had her car worked on at Sears. (Horrible experience by the way that I refuse to get into here.) Ella was just like her mom, so the story goes, in the Disney Store. She couldn't pick just one stuffed animal, she wanted them all! Here's her holding 3 of the same Minnie Mouse! She was in heaven.
Then we hit the Halloween store on the way home so Avery could get 1st picks of the Clone Troopers costumes! Here's a few pics of the kids having some dress up fun before getting down to business.
It was tempting to stay inside this rainy weekend but I am glad we ventured out and had some quality time together. We even went out to Chili's for dinner as a family on Saturday night and had a good time. Avery was most excited about the balloon man who came to our table and made a sword for him. Could we finally be getting back to the stage in life where we can go out as a family and somewhat relax?! We sure hope so! Here's to another week upon us and Aunt Stephanie coming in town for a bridal shower weekend!
